Jack and Jill are actually King Louis (Jack) and Queen Marie Antionette (Jill) who, “Jack” got executed (his head being chopped off, ‘broke his crown’) and “Jill” soon had the same fate (came following after) They just made it kid-friendly. Seriously, who would want to sing thier baby a nursery rhyme about death of a King and Queen?
