I enjoyed this, but I do prefer the original movie versions of songs. While, don’t get me wrong, the people who redid the songs have beautiful voices, they don’t hold the innocence that was there before. The songs were magnificent in its simplicity sometimes.

Why the hate on Mary Poppins?! The Sherman Brothers (the two big main disney composers) did excellent on those songs, Supercali is one of my favorites
and Chim Chim Cheree won an academy award. I love Mary Poppins, it’s said to be Disney’s crowning achievement. And it is. (plus Julie Andrews is gorgeous)

I was with you until you put Can you feel the love tonight as number eleven, cuz in my opinion that beauty and the beast and a whole new world could make up the top three all time disney songs. Just saying.

I am not surprised at the top 3. Those are pretty much the biggest ones. But my guess would have been Circle of Life at #1. My fave is Part of Your World.

Thank you God for letting me breath my first breath on the classic era..i miss them so so much..Please let the minds of the Disney now, think of how their movies and such can NEVER EVER replace what OLD DISNEY gave us..I ask of you God to lighten their minds now…AMEN…

It really is a shame, they don’t make Disney films like they used to. They were at their best when they first came out. They were amazing for everyone nowadays they aren’t.
